Myrtha Hall

Born in Haiti, Myrtha, from a very young age, showed an obvious talent for drawing. This is why she attended the "Centre d'Art" in Port-au-Prince, where the greatest Haitian painters came from. There she met Joe Ramponneau, Wilfrido Lam, Maurice Borno, Luce Turnier, May Pinchinat, Elzire Malbranche, Tamara Baussan, Roland Dorcely and Lucien Price who became her drawing teacher. She continued her studies at the "Foyer des Arts Plastiques" with Luckner Lazarre, Dieudonné Cédor, John Jeanty and many other masters who encouraged her to develop a particular touch, from which the vitality of her soul bursts forth.
